They were on-time, on-budget, respectful, communicative, and completed everything to a high standard. The project goal was to switch the water supply of mom's house from her now-dry well to water at the street from City of Monroe. Schlegg Valley did the following for us: * Thorough on-site review and consultative advice that lead to a project plan that I was confident in and understood * Coordinated with the City of Monroe to get the water meter installed at the street, including being on-site to make sure it was placed at the right location and not to close to our septic drain field or other potential problems. * Put in ~300 ft of water supply line (and valve box, etc.) from meter to our house and detached shop. * Gave us the option of directional boring or traditional trenching depending on our budget and preference. (we chose trenching, and I'm very happy with the results... he did a great job of filling back in the gravel driveway areas he had to cross, and the grass will be fine with a little bit of overseeding) * Disconnected and removed old well equipment from the garage (decomissioning the well itself was done by JKA Well Drilling, another great company in the are) * Spliced the new water line into the original supply line from the old well. I definitely recommend him for construction and and his brother for pumping the system! Josh and Jake came out promptly and quickly diagnosed the issue. Pricing was more than fair and the work was done in just over an hour. Josh S. did a great job understanding what needed to be done and was very efficient with his work. He came out and gave a bid for free where the other company wanted $250 to just give an estimate. The going rate for this work is a bit high but with how local construction going it is understandable. He fit me in on a Saturday and made quick work out of it. I asked him to move a few large rocks with the small backhoe and he did this on his way out and at no extra charge. I can't speak to the final solution of my drain field problem yet but I feel I could call on him again if things don't start smelling better. Had josh and his crew out to our property to do our septic system and infiltration system to our new home build, came on time installed the fast 5 system and did our infiltration system, we had a water issue with the foundation and he installed a french drain and even did our grading around the house everything passed upon inspection and it looks amazing highly recommend him and his crew they did a great job thank you again A++++
